Both are correct. The original text is 犯したい and 犯されたい which can be translated into 'i want to penetrate/to rape' and 'i want to be penetrated/to be raped'

Couldn't agree more. If it were me to translate this, i'd also stick to 'i want to top and i want to be topped'. I alsp like the fan translations better

the contradiction line is one of best I've ever read in manga. It's a shame they make it sound like something from teen romance Hollywood flick...
YO I bought volume 1 from June and like some of it's so different.
When Yashiro talks about the duality of man and how people contradict themselves "they want to top, then they want to bottom" June translated this as "I want to be raped, I want to rape"
Who speaks enough Japanese to explain to me why either of these translations make sense for what the original says? Anybody lmao?
PS the pages that were originally in color look SO crappy in the June version. Like they didn't even try to get the contrast/levels right to make it look okay. Like I wasn't expecting color pages- but I absolutely wasn't expecting blurry underexposed pages either lmao.
