It's just a Webtoon. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. I think people who liked it have some kind of fetish or somewhat. But after all it is just a comic and most people can separate the real world from this.

i think a lot of bl writers and readers do have some rape fetish or something or that trope wouldn't be so so so used in manga/webtoons, i mean this story is pretty fucked up and doesn't really romanticize rape like others but it still falls into the "happy ending for rapistxvictim" bs :/ and my dude, i'm well aware it's fiction, but fiction can also be harmful for young minds and etc

It almost looks like you didn't even read the story properly lol. It's not meant to be a happy ending or a fluffy story, it's meant to represent a toxic relationship. In the ending chapter, Dohyun himself understands that their relationship is wrong and they could end up hurting eachother even more in the future, but they still share feelings for eachother so they are choosing to ignore how they treated one another (obviously what Dohyun did in highschool isn't to the level of what Sungho did for his revenge, but they have different levels of sensitivity as they both are not mentally sane, but in different ways). Not once did I feel like this manhwa gives the message that rape is okay. Of course, there's plenty of yaoi that do (yaoi is just a misinterpretation of gay relationships all along, since it's written by women for women most of the time), but not this one.

Yes, you have a good point. But many people who are reading this aren't fully developed yet and could misinterpreted these toxic signs. Most adults can easily tell what this story is about, many teenagers can't because they don't have enough experience nor education. There should have been atleast a warning in every chapter so that minors don't think "Oh no, he is hurting me but after he realizes that he loves me, he will apologize and we will live happily ever after." I know this is a stereotype but I can confirm that many girls think like that.

the story still ends with a victim and his rapist+abuser in a "happy" relationship, no matter how much u want to think this is different from alll of the other mangas with this same plot of u really think about it it's not, for me this was really good and then went downhill and the ending killed it, also. it's my opinion and we can differ :)

There probably isn't a warning because even though minors read this stuff, they aren't supposed to, there is violence and sex. Most "dangerous" movies do not have warnings because children aren't even supposed to watch them
