Really, I think you're missing the point of the people, or at least some like me, who don't want Raita to be uke. I think wanting Raita to be seme doesn't really go against the stuff you said.
"i dont like cute or small ukes because it will be similar to a shojo" - that wouldn't really be the case either if ogata (or madoka) was uke.
And just to say, I don't think I'd be disliking Raita being the uke if the story was started in a different way, like with a feel that that was the intention.
