taku did manage to capture haesoo’s true self...it’s just that his true self was someone who was extremely lonely and missed joowon. the pictures forced him to see just how depressed he was, hence the crying. no other picture has managed to capture haesoo’s real feelings until now.
this ^^^ generally he saw how unhappy he really was. not only romantic wise, but life in general. his career as a writer, the scandal, his decisions - everything. he sees how much it took a toll on him. and that's sad af. realizing how fucked up you are is sad af.
So you say him tearing up doesn't have anything to do with haesoo feelings for taku ? I mean they are not tears of love ..are they!
I just saw another theory in instg which I think also has potential although I don't like it.. it's about when haesoo said that he doesn't like pictures of himself because he feels they are not his real self or sth like that but taku somehow managed to capture a picture that haesoo can genuinely feel himself in and stuff like that so that's why he teared up
