Pretty sure he's that old friend of Older Bro's who lived in that flower shrine surrounded by lots of flowers, the one that first told Older Bro's about flower's cultivation and flowering period, which is how Older Bro knew enough to figure out grandpa was a flower demon and when he was ill due to the blooming period.
