i believe it is! Even though she is an adult she has the mentality of a child in a way! and up until now most of the decision making has been made by the professor and not her.

I’ve heard its quite common a teacher and student dating but I personally find it weird but ofc its their choice!

I think in this scenario, this is not grooming but more on the gaslighting side.
Ps. I'm not a professional to give any diagnosis, this is just my opinion and if I'm wrong please correct me
