The sun was smiling that day. The birds were chirping, My cats were purring and Zion, oh my Zion, had tears in his eyes, looking at me. 'Looks like my time has really come' I thought.
"Zion" I said weakly. He launches his head gently onto my reaching hands and laid them upon his forehead.
"Estrella" my sister said. As I looked at her and the people beside her sniffling - My father My brothers, My friend, My people - They were all surrounding me as I depart this world.
I looked at them and smiled. "You'll forget me as soon as I give birth but it's okay. I'll cherish all of the memories with me." They couldn't stop their tears from falling. "It's okay, I'm okay. So you'll be okay."
The moment was interrupted as the door flew open. The doctor had come. "It's time to deliver the baby" he said.
"NO! A FEW MORE MINUTES!" My father yelled. "Daddy..." He looked at me "Estrella..." His eyes were red from tears. I guess giving birth was worth it to see this. I'm so glad to have met my family.
"Your Highness, anymore further and you'll not only lose her but the baby as well". The doctor said with great fear of offending the emperor.
I bid my last farewell to everyone. After a few minutes the delivery was successful. I grabbed the baby onto my embrace and help him in my arms. As I looked at him I felt warm. My body was slowly starting to fade like stars that explode to create a new star.
"Estrella!" They all screamed. For the first time today, tears fell down from my eyes but I was not sad. I smiled at them, still holding my baby and said "Thank you everyone.... for everything"
My existence had now left this Earth. As I observed the people I had once loved forget every piece of me. These memories only I know of, I shall keep with me. The Estrella that was once there had vanished into thin air.
