the way things are rn, i wouldn’t mind if they stayed that way; although i’d want lucius to be happy with pauliana, the love of his life, it’s honestly kind of hard to imagine paulina falling in love/seeing him as a man, esp now. they’re too ingrained in their roles as emperor and knight, and pauliana has always seen him with the utmost respect as her emperor/superior and he also respects her, treats her like an equal, etc theyre like really close, supportive buddies in my eyes. paulina also seems the asexual/aromantic type.
