Oh. I didn’t know that lol. I don’t read it because of all the unnecessary male lead syndrome.
Just wanted to tell y’all there is a whole other cover where it shows the ML (the emperor) and the FL, and it also shows their child that they have. (The child applied to THIS current timeline, not the one where she’s killed by the guillotine.) So they’re going to end up together. If you don’t like stuff like that I suggest you drop the story.
Also it seems the author is taking the approach where the ML seems more “human” than apathetic now. So he won’t be complete shit in this timeline according to spoilers.
Tbh even though this is similar to the abandoned empress, the ML is completely evil in this one and didn’t have some stupid woman manipulate him. He was just an apathetic human being to begin with and I’m curious to see how he goes from someone merciless to a good person.
