Yeah. It's often the case with stories. Even in the rare case where you have the "don't judge a book by it's cover", if it's about outer appearance it's usually about an ugly man rather than an ugly woman.
The beast, Quasimodo, Shrek (Fiona is different because she chose her appearance, she could have stayed pretty if she wanted) and none of them end up with the girl as is.
The beast become a beautiful man, Quasimodo end up alone and Fiona loose her beauty.

Though the updates are really translated confusingly, I still appreciate the updates and efforts.
I've been wanting to ask but that Daniel Walford is the Male Lead (What's his age btw?) and if there is a romance for Mildred at all? Because the main goal is the happiness of the daughters which is also endearing to me and also plenty enough romance to see them with a partner!
After Mildred said that Cinderella was only chosen/loved by the prince because she was beautiful, it made me realize that she actually was speaking the truth. It hits harder after she questioned what happens to those who aren't beautiful.
