The scene that you mention, unfortunately it was made by the staffs from animation team. They write it base on the idea of the author (i think?). So that scene is an original scene.

So there’s this scene at the end of the anime of Jean and nino on their prom night was it added in the anime or was it also written in somewhere by the author ?
Bcs I feel like it foreshadowed Jean and nino’s relationship but I don’t know if it was also the case for the manga
