I don't really see a need to apologise for the agreement since it was consensual on both sides. Like, even the FL agreed to just being the consort or for a loveless marriage. And I don't know if I missed such scenes, but the emperor wasn't particularly MEAN mean just cold to her during the beginning. But yes, in all honestly I don't like ML being endgame either
That's true maybe I'm just biased because I don't want him to be endgame.
I dunno man I still don't like ml because he was only interested in her because she was talking with others. I mean I'm still kinda bitter from the past version of ml. Like from day one he was like I'll make you my consort but not the queen and I'll never love you so don't be my wife's...I dunno maybe Missed the apology somewhere.
