I love this i love this i love this. Like I want more of this type of stories of older women. Maybe some that have kids. If you know (any genre) where the main focus is like adult and not a teen drama, hit me up.

You should read I became the mother of the villain it’s very similar to this. The main character becomes the step mother of the future villain of a novel

I suggest you read 'A stepmother's Marchen,' it's about a young woman married to an older noble who already had 5 children. The noble died and left the children in her care. The story is about her building relationships with the children, and it's all very heartwarming.

And, while I am reluctant to say this, having read both 'I became the mother of the villain' and 'A stepmother's Marchen,' it is very clear that the mother in the first does not truly know what being a mother means and only knows how to cry/speak for her child without thinking about the child's thoughts and why things are happening the way they are. However, one's opinions are merely opinions, and you may read both if you wish and see which you enjoy.

:( noooooooo that one is nowhere near as good as this one. While both have stepmother protagonists, “I raised Cinderella” has the realistic nuance of a woman trying to navigate a difficult time in her family’s lives and the expectations of society.

“I became the villains mother” on the other hand feels a lot less developed, she kinda raises her son like an abused toddler Pokémon and then- oh my gosh everybody loves her except the bitches who don’t

I still read both comics tho so ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Just be warned, if “Cinderella’s mom” is 5star, “villains mom” is like 2.5 star

You might like reading “Pandora’s choice” instead. It’s one of the best full color webcomics I’ve ever read and It feels like it was written for older audiences.

I agree that “a step mothers marchen” is also pretty good

Some other fantasy you might like:
    Blood of madam Giselle
    The greatest wish
Ingrid the white deer - shows toxic relationships and deeply flawed characters in a non-sugarcoated way
    Madam Petit

Requiem first the rose king - beautiful art, loosely follows The story of Richard III

    Other non-fantasy must reads:
    Middle school girl A
    KIDS ARE ALLRIGHT

If you like any of the recommended above, I have a longer list of comics with well written female characters:

You can also find exceptionally good full color fantasy/sci if comics on independent sites, webtoon, tapas, or smack Jeeves

    Highly recommend:
“ALL THAT YOU ARE” - a mother struggling to raise a child after a life shattering personal failure, all while escalating tensions between warring factions in the dystopian future the story is set in threaten to tear apart the city around her
    “HUMOR ME”
    “UNSOUNDED”
    “kill six billion demons”
    “Snarl bear”
    “A better place”
