renesha ends up getting engaged with cabel like she actually falls in love with him but then the emperor doesn't approve because a saintss and the monster on the battlefield odd couple and are obviously looking to rebel against the empire is what the emperor thinks so he takes hostage of reneshas father or adoptive father the priest so she has to leave cabel and be hostage for the emperor and supposedly "marry" the prince but the prince support cabel and renesha together so when he becomes emperor renesha and cabel get married and have a baby boy and a daughter. :)
