When the story started i thought tha the stepmother would just be a good mother to Cinderella since she was the protagonist of the story+ her(the stepmother) just trying to save her ass only. But then i stump into this MASTERPIECE where the stepmother doesn't care who is the prettiest to treat her the best, but a woman, who is now a single mother of three daughters, where she doesn't have the help of nobody else but herself, who lives in a period of time when not having a men in the house is considered the wort thing that could happen to a woman. But this QUEEN doesn't need of a man to support her. She takes care of all her daughters equally and without biases. She prioritizes her daughters' happiness over hers. She lets them know that they are more than just physical appearances, and that they are loved regardless of anything. She's doing a pretty good damn job for someone who became a mother out of nowhere. It's truly beautiful. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Chuck it up to stereotypical standards for women to be petite and perfect that having a bigger nose than normal and freckles is suddenly considered ugly I LOVE how it didnt start with the stepmother appeasing to Cinderella after bullying her
