The necklace was made specifically for Jinyao and YiYun. The only reason others aren’t allowed to touch it is because it can break the spell. Someone else having it will NOT automatically make them Jinyao’s new love interest. Also, Jinyao and YiYun were bound by fate even before the necklace spell solidified it. In fact, the purpose of the necklace is so Jinyao can share his life force and luck with YiYun to prevent YiYun’s death.

Sorry for the mispells of love oof— I’ll explain why theres a chance Jinyao will fall inlove with the green haired girl bc of the necklace, remember what the grandpa said that this might cause Yi Yun and Jinyao to fall in love because they’re ‘connected’? Yeah. That might be also applicable to other people but even if Jinyao falls for her, he and Yi Yun have a much more better compatibility meaning they’ll end up together in the end. That last statement I said was also based from what the grandpa said chapters ago so yeah be ready guys (￣∇￣")
