Saying "to take after" or "resemble" both imply that she LOOKS like her mother. But sure, I admit that both phrases could potentially mean she resembles her mother in a different way. Like let's say personality, demeanor, etc. But they generally mean like looks.
Ok but like. Idk how they didn't even know something was going on with her from the get-go. Like the most obvious clue she was being abused was she was acting like a wounded animal. She pushed away her family, blamed them for her misfortunes, tried to hurt herself when she could. LIKE YEAH. EVERYONE'S CALLING HER THE DAUGHTER OF A WHORE AND HER DAD'S FIANCÉE IS ABUSING HER! Like they make it seem like it's HER fault she looks lifeless and that's SUCH an eyesoreee (sarcasm).
Now, putting aside the OBVIOUS RED FLAGS HERE, how the HELL did they not know she was being abused? Like I'm sure that future stepmom was so full of herself, she had to have acted really suspicious sometimes. The brothers didn't even like her, so why would they be like "yah totally let her watch over my sister." Well, I guess assuming they didn't care since from birth, people were being mean to her.
Not to mention I don't get the whole "She hates me cuz I look like my mom." Senianna looks EXACTLY like her brother Gawain and her GRANDFATHER. "Looks like my mom" where? Sure she don't even look like her DAD but that's cuz her genes went right to granddaddy. Like idk man even really mean ppl tend to favor children who look like them. I'd have thought Sir Grandpapa would at least treat her well considering she takes after him but noooooo. Well whatever, at least she got rid of her abuser. Though I can't really say the same for the original Senianna who had to die for this mess >:(
