Hmm, in a way. They wanted her to come back and begged her for forgiveness but, she told them that she didn’t want to come back, and she rather die and live with her other family.
She told them that if she wanted to come back, she would have woke up already from her coma, but she didn't want to see their ugly faces anymore.
And instead of forgiving them, she only told them that everything is in the past and to let her go because she is never, never coming back to them.
And then, Whoosh!

Well, Yvonne is hard to describe because I'll be spoiling everything even the main plot, but what I can say so that everyone can look forward to the plot unraveling is that Yvonne is not Yvonne, and the real Yvonne is dead.... (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Castillo - He is the main male lead, and the one who ends up with Penelope. Unlike everyone else who acts nice then hide their intention to find out hers, he's very out there with his thoughts and intentions towards her. He doesn't question her unless its suicidal and trust her judgment and alway comes to her rescues. Also, he is madly in love with her and does everything to keep her safe
Vinter - Second male lead. He is a powerful wizard who laters on deny that he loves her and tries to think that its just business related. Later on, he regrets not taking his feeling seriously because Penelope's heart and trust gets snatch away by MML. He also trust Penelope after the coming-of-age ceremony and does everything he can to help her, within his limits.
Renard - Supporting male lead, he dislikes Penelope because he doesn't want to forget about Yvonne and feels that Penelope is trying the snatch her place in the family. Later on, he regrets the awful things he does to Penelope and tries his best to make it up to her. Even went as far as to going against his older brother and believeing in Penelope. Also, he starts to genuinely treat Penelope as his sister.
Esclair - supporting male lead, he decided to become her slave so that he could use her to get revenge for his fallen country. However, he doesn't realize that he was falling in love with her, and the love he has for her starts to become poison to the both of them.
Derrick - supporting male lead, similar to Renard he dislike Penelope because he doesn't want her to take Yvonne's place in the family, but his feeling towards Penelope goes much deeper. Also, he projects his guilt of losing Yvonne onto Penelope. He's a hypocrite and doesn't trust anything that Penelope says and always second guess her.
