Ingird forces herself to be in this marriage with someone she barely knows, and then constantly plays the victim making others think the ML abuses her.. its twisted! she presents herself as this rare gem in noble society, but continues to gaslight the ML into thinking he is the ONLY problem in this relationship. he clearly has addiction problems and trauma.. which does not excuse his actions of yelling at her... but they both have to work together and actually be honest with each other. Its like hitting a dead end.. and for what!
ALSO the author made it seem like she was in love with her past tutor/lover? and that was the reason she so desperately wanted a marriage.. BUT THEN she didnt even want to be with her past lover??? she just wanted a clean break from him... so what was the point lol
