i'm imagining that yuu get married to that sophomore and ryo had to be their best man and give speech at the wedding. yuu had a baby with his wife, but not long after that yuu wife suddenly pass away. so ryo had to console yuu. somewhere along the line yuu fess up saying he did love his wife but at the same time his feeling for ryo still there, makes ryo cry and fess up to his real feeling towards yuu. in the end they raised the kid together as a couple.
