i think they aren’t giving her proper meals a noble should have, like the soup. it’s, plain, nothing in it, while everyone else has fancy dishes. her utensils were too small and impractical, it would be impossible to eat. Then they gave her custard, which is kind of slippery, so she really wouldnt be able to eat her dessert at all since the tiny spoon wouldnt even hold the slippery custard and it would fall if she tried.
