I don't really think it has to do with the mood? Like i could understand if for example they clicked on smth thinking it was a shounen and turns out it's a seinen, which are too distinct genre, but bl, gl and shoujo all fall into the category of romance. The only difference between them is the gender. So i personally think it's kinda weird to be in the mood to only like stuff with a certain gender in it. Unless you can relate to it (wlw with gl/mlm with bl though it isn't quite realistic) but most fujoshis are straight cis girls. And well they're fujoshis so they pretty much only like bl, or whatever that has gay men... because I'm pretty sure if it was a bl they would read it right away lol

i like yaoi and i still read other categories not all people who read bl just read straight bl some just haven't branched out its wrong to put them all in the same category .

I guess I can't really understand the feel. But I do read BL sometimes, I pretty much read anything that has a good plot and good character writing. Rather than having a stereotyped view on people who read BL I'd say i have one on fujoshis. I'm not an "anti" or anything but I can't understand the process or only reading bl since it's equal to obsession for me, and well since fujoshi is literally a bad word I think it's reasonable for me to not really like it. However since everyone is different and might not know the meaning of the word (because i don't see why would you call yourself a bad word) i'll try to have a less stereotyped view on them.

I'm not talking about bl readers at all dw!! I only refereed to people (fujoshis ig) that ONLY read bl. If i did not it would be pretty hypocritical since I do read bl sometimes lol

Yes you know it’s like how people are obsessed with shounen and never branch out when there’s loads of great genres so you can say someone can get obsessed with shoujo anyone can get obsessed with anything but do come back when you feel like it I think it’s cute or freaking read some super cute shounen ai right now that’s an order since you ain’t reading this go read something equally as cute right not go, do find them then tell me so I can read them too :)
