The author cleared that in her creator's note. They said they couldn't show Chiwoo and Jihyun together in a side story because of the sexual crimes Jihyun committed towards Chiwoo. It goes against author's Morales. So instead, they made a parallel universe where it shows a Jihyun that never assaulted Chiwoo and how they actually end up in a relationship.
So all of it is dream? Boor that guy ihope he is a dream too
