Foreshadows of tragedy

With SeungHo saying he’d rather die and kill those who torture him, plus with Nakyum’s potential assassination plot, I feel like this will end with both SeungHo and Nakyum dying in the period timeline, with each of them discovering the other’s feelings a bit too late. I do have a hunch the author will reconcile them in a modern timeline through their reincarnations though; whether they remember or not might be a bit of a stretch.
