Man read the story......... she was called evil because the one that the dark spirit king blessed tried to destroy the kingdom which is the peoples fault coz they eventually successfully turned a hero into a villain because they turned their backs on him and I don't even blame that dude.......
I don't really think its racism because it the blessing I mean its makes logical sense
Also the light spirit king aplogized because she didn't know her blessing will cause her skintone to change
(In the novel....)
still this is whitewashing and it is not okay.
i can’t believe they made dark skin “evil” and light skin as “pure” this is so frustrating. i really like the story but this is incredibly racist
