but fr y the need to whitewash insinuating that darker skin is negative- surely keep her skin dark and change other character's previous discrimination against dark magic and dark sin

But yeah I agree, wS it so hard to just let her skin be? The least they could've done was to make her hair white not her skin, that would've still been a little more acceptable than making her skin white （￣へ￣）
