Trashta is not pregnant with shoveyourshoe but with some other guy. Sovieshit thinks that navier is barren while he is the one with problems ( backstory: sovieshu's mother made cookies which will make one childless, but since the pair were just children, the young prince gives the cookies to navier who was on a diet for her "how to be a great queen 101" training, and he ate them too). At one point sovieshu realizes that the baby is not his but still keeps trashta with him.
What he is planning is, he will divorce the queen using trashta, the baby will become crown prince and trashta becomes empress, this solves the commoner problems, then after a year he will remarry navier and appoint her queen (he knows that navier is best at what she does) and it will also solve the "the royal couple has no children" problem. But it obviously didn't happen smh.
