1) The sick flower demon ("grandpa") guy had a chronic sickness and the sickness had started acting up so bad they all thought he was really going to die for real, this time.
2) The cause for his sickness was the little white ball thingie inside his body, which was supposed to be some kinf of form of "yang energy" (masculine energy) that they all said could have only come from another man, and could have only gotten inside the sick flower demon ("grandpa") through sex (with that other man).
3) The one who came to take that white ball thingie out of his body, in order to save the life of the sick flower demon ("grandpa"), was the lord of the flower castle/shrine who apperaed before in Older Bro Ao-Gu's memories (he's some kind of god that protects all flowers) and who also turned out to be another friend of Older Bro Ao Gu's, from a long time ago.
4) The reason that flower lord came to save the sick flower demon ("grandpa") is because, it turns out, "grandpa" is actually one of the former inhabitants from the flower castle/shrine, and he and the flower lord seem to be related in some way.
5) The reason no one knew before that the sick flower demon ("grandpa") is actually related to the flower lord, is because "grandpa" was posing as a lesser earth-bound god, hiding the fact that he originally had had (and had somehow lost) a much higher position and rank, as a fledgling "celestial" deity from the flower lord's castle ("celestial" deities, even as fledglings, are always supposed to be infinitely superior to earth-bound lesser gods).
6) The fact that the sick flower demon ("grandpa") was pretending to be a "commoner" earth-bound god was because he wanted to hide the fact that he used to be a fledgling "celestial" deity, and somehow lost his chance to properly develop as a god due to Older Bro Ao-Gu's accidental interference when he was "developing". The most serious interference was when the two had sex, as sex makes flower fledglings unable to develop properly as gods. That was also the time when Older Bro Ao-Gu accidentally left that tiny white ball of yang energy inside "grandpa".
7) So... Ao Gu (the mc's older brother) is actually the cause of all of grandpa's problems (his sickness and his having lost his original position and rank). The thing is, Ao Gu has no idea because he doesn't remember it (we still don't know why).

Yes, he did rape him, but as it will be revealed in later chapters, something or someone else made him do it (I'm not goint to say more because this will get revealed later on in the story).

Nah, I only know because someone posted a few spoilers, though it didn't come as a surprise because the Older bro didn't really look very normal in the flashbacks of grandpa's memories about the rape, and the fact that he forgot in the first place was in itself a dead giveaway that Older Bro may not have been in his right mind when it happened. (I guess I'm a bit used to noticing this stuff because I read a lot of fiction in general, and Asian online fiction in particular).
Oh, hey! (=・ω・=) I figured something was up, because not only did Ao Gu look off in the flashback chapters, he's been living with Grandpa for months now and hasn't done anything cruel to him on purpose. Ao Ao even said "that doesn't sound like my brother--are you sure it's not a misunderstanding?" (LOL huge hint there) Anyway, I went and spoiled myself by reading the raws, and I don't think it's a spoiler to say that the truth behind what happened is even sadder than I thought it would be (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
