you're right, he's way too naive. but he's also so flat, like doesn't he know the stick and carrot approach to life? as a king he can't just be kind-hearted. i just can't imagine him as a good king if he's that senseless and unaware
Exactly. And truly am so glad this manga has no romance tag. I try to ignore the existence of the king as much as possible i just wanna see my queen berta leave the castle with his son and live the peaceful and blissful life they deserve
