The Prologue
Soviet so shocked, by the time he snapped out out it, the High Priest already blessed the marriage, so he use Emperor authority to annulled the marriage but the high priest scolded him saying the Emperor has no right since marriage was under the church jurisdiction, and Navier and Heinly was pronounced husband and wife, Navier friends laugh out loud seeing Soviet despair. After that Soviet lock down Navier and Heinly in her parents mansion with military force/

Soviet tried to persuade Navier to cancel her marriage

Navier : I'm the one who proposed to him
Soviet : Are you defending him now?
Navier : He is my husband
Soviet : He is only using you!
Navier : We are using each other. Let's stop this, and be happy with the one who you want to be with
Soviet : I want to be with you
Navier : yet you divorced me today


But Heinly was a King so Soviet knew locking him any further would lead to a war but he couldn't release his order cause it would tarnish his dignity so he asked Duke Ergy to take Heinly alone out of the mansion and leave Navier, at first Duke Ergy was going to do that to earn Soviet trust, but when Navier ask him to look after Rasta so she would't ruin the Empire, Duke Ergy became guilty cause his goal was to ruin the Empire, so he rescue Navier too by hiding her in the secret compartment in the carriage.

After they are arrived in Heinly Kingdom, Navier didn't get a warm welcome, but they can't do anything about the surprise marriage. Many people condemned her, saying she is power crazed, traitor but many people also support her saying she get divorced unfairly so she has the right to live however she want, there is also rumor that Heinly and Navier having an affair, that's the reason for the divorce, so Navier implicitly told some reporter that she already knew Soviet is planning to divorce her ahead of time and Heinly help her through that hard times, thank to this many nobles pity her and took her side. When Soviet heard of this he said 'Oh, Navier must think that I throw her away, how sad she would be', so he send Navier a letter saying he didn't planned to abandon her, he is only going to make Rasta the Empress for a year, he ask Navier to wait patiently till the baby born and he would make Navier an Empress again. Of course Navier didn't reply the crazy fucker.

Navier and Heinly attend Soviet and Rasta wedding as the Guest. When they walk in the garden, remembering their past memories, Soviet interrupted

Soviet : Navier could we talk?
Heinly : What is your business with my wife?
Soviet : Your wife?
Heinly : Yes My wife
Navier : What do you want to talk?
Soviet : Can we talk alone?
Navier : No

On the Wedding ball
Soviet ask Navier for a dance, Navier couldn't refuse

Soviet : Come back to me
Navier : No
Soviet : Come back to me after a year
Navier : Yeah, after a year you might say to wait another year and then another year

The next day, Soviet came to Navier room,

Navier and Heinly weddings
Heinly ask Soviet for dinner together

Heinly : I fall for Navier the first time I saw her, but I have no chance back then so I buried my feeling so I sincerely thank you for divorcing her
Soviet : Don't be so smug, after Navier knew your true colors, she would surely come back to me

But after witnessing how happy Navier, laughing in Heinly arms, it's dawned in him that He lost her, he feels the pain for the first time, he wondered if this how Navier feel when he brought Rasta in but then he brushed it off 'No way, Navier didn't love me, she is so cold' then he got drunk and crying and sobbing on the floor to his aide to bring Navier back

When he is about to leave
Soviet : I Love You
Navier : Are you kidding me
Soviet : No
Navier : Do you think I would come back to you if you said that words?
Soviet : No, I just want you to forget the pain I gave you and only remember the stupid husband who let you go
Navier just crying remembering all the pain she is been through, she like 'then what the hell am I suffering for, isn't it for your so called love to Rasta


Then there us a rumor about Henly having an affair with his Sister in law, thanks to Kaffmen, burned by jealousy, he give him love potion, and told the Sis in law who have feelings for Heinly to approached him,and some noble saw the Sis in law wiping Heily forehead with affection, and Heinly just stood still cause he is under the spell, Heinly tried to resist the Love potion and fled from the scene. Soviet hearing the news cursing and swearing at Heinly (Oh my sir, if you do it it's romance but if others do it it's an affair huh)

After that he met accidentally with Navier in the Academy
Soviet : Come back to me
Navier : No
Soviet : Is it because of your pride? Don't worry baout it, just come back to me
Navier : No, I'm happy
Soviet : Happier than when we are younger?
Navier couldn't answer because her younger days was the happiest times with her loving families and friends, that is before soviet brought Rasta in.
Soviet : I heard the rumors
Navier : It's just a rumors
Soviet : Are you sure?
Navier : Yes. Even if it's true, it's none of your business

What I hate the most about him is the fact that he never reflected on his action. At least his friend Lucio from 'Lady To Queen' admitted that he is wrong and stupid and beg for forgiveness. But Soviet never did, he regretted divorcing Navier, but that's it. He never realized that he treated Navier like shit, he still think of himself as good husband despite everything he is done to Navier that's why he have such false confidence that Navier would come back to him if he just ask for it, even at the end he still had no idea why Navier so cold to him.

Some readers have the illusion that Soviet only want to make Navier jealous blah blah but nah he is just self centered Asshole. He really mean it when he ask Navier to take care of Rasta, to give Rasta her jewelries, to love Rasta child. in Soviet eyes Rasta was oh so poor and innocent, that's why every time she cries he yell at Navier and blame her, even though he knew Navier isn't at fault still it was Navier responsibility.

I couldn't agree more. The lack of self reflection is the key here. He is a asshole and a egoistic man who only thinks on HIS point of view. The pharse "hmmm, maybe I'm wrong" doesnt appear in his world.

In the end he wont suffer enough because guilt isnt something he will understand. Thats why I want to PUNCH HIM REALLY HARD!! (╬￣皿￣)凸
