True I can see that as well, I guess I just hyped up the statue to a god level, the worshiping, the overwhelming powers, the joy it has to rule and crush those weaker then him, I guess I just kinda assumed this god like statue also had the knowledge of a god so I never thought of it being controlled by another.

I think everyone thought like you and that this abrupt change in direction was unexpected but it's just as cool. And I mean you can also think if it as a god being controlled by another God you know? All that matters now is that he can finally defeat his greatest fear which is the double dungeon and also learn of the secrets behind the system (⌒▽⌒)
Like I love this battle, AND IM HELLA HYPED FOR HIM TO FACE WHAT STARTED IT ALL, buuuutttt what are your opinions on the boss/ mastermind being the rule holder instead of the big statue on the throne?
I don’t know, the creepy smile the biggest statue had in the first couple chapters Like it enjoyed their pain. How it was illustrated, and the rules that made the throne statue be worshipped like a god, the sheer power that made all the adventures feel like less then ants, that all made me think that this would be a battle against the large statue and not against the statue holding the rules.
I’m still hella pumped and enjoying the hell outta this, I just wanted to if anyone else felt the same...
