....that I see the word hickey instead of using kiss mark. As of this post, I've read 528 manga with 525 of them being yaoi. #rarefind

I agree with you. I have also only seen kiss mark and not Hickey and I have read 1251 yoai manga

There are probably only a handful of translators and it's their personal preference. Just what I suspect. lol

I was confused as hell when I first saw it. I kept asking myself what the hell is a kiss mark? I really did think that it was something other than the hickeys I saw. XD I think that it is more of a literal translation instead of a figurative translation. Sometimes it irks me though. And before anyone (this is not directed towards you @Wine) says that they are doing the best they can, I know already. I decided to help out and make sure that English speakers can read manga without popping a blood vessel. Nya! XD
