The father is the first love but he (the protagonist) never confessed and thought that he ( the father) had died. Later he moves back and meets the son that looks a lot as his father ( the first love) thus he thinks that the son is the ghost of the father and gets confused. At last he learns that the father never died, married, and had a son, which caused all the misunderstanding.
It is a little confusing. (●'◡'●)

I dont get something from chap 1, so he's first love is hagio, but he said he is dead then who is hagio akihiro? I know hagio hishuu is the son. I do not get if hes first love is dead or alive..
