i disagree about the genuinity of sian's feelings for yul,imho, i think at one point sian really did love yul but since he suffocated her, forbid her to grow as a person, he became a shackle to her and that is one of the main reasons she broke up with him. the trigger for his madness is his own self, he was too selfish, too demanding and that's why she broke up with him. who in their right mind will try to coerce someone to assault your own girlfriend just so she becomes scared of other guys and make her rely on you more? stab yourself to make your own mother look crazy since she forbids your relationship? he was twisted in his affection, too absorbed in his self that he refused to see what he was doing to her. she was right, he was keeping her in a box, in a pedestal when she is only human too. who can blame him tho yeah he has a messed up family, but that is never an excuse to hurt those who are dear to you.
the only thing that sian did wrong was she NEVER explained why she broke up with him. she told all those feeble excuses like moving away and distance and what not, the case with her mom when clearly yul stabbed himself, when she was still being too nice instead of saying the truth, where she finally did in the last chapters.
but that's just my honest opinion lol
Srsly I feel like yul deserved so much better he was obviously mentally ill and in need of therapy not saying that wat he did was right but it's so obvious that both of them are victims here Sian went through alot because of her mother and yul and yul went through a lot because of his toxic family and the bullying and all of this going on while not being in his right mind I mean come on I love yul and want him to find lobe again amd a therapist
Poooootaaanginnnnaaaa!!!!! My heart hurttsss sooooo much. Come at me if you want, but sh*t, Yul deserve happiness too. It just felt unfair and i was right from the start that the fmc was not genuine on what she feels towards yul and that is what triggers all of this madness. I mean if you are a person who was starved of warmth and comfort for a long time and then suddenly be provided with what you craved, for sure you will always want to have that source of warmth. I just hate the fact that other people wants yul out of this story, i mean what is wrong with these people?!! These guys should know that not everything in life is glitters and rainbows!!!! Try looking into things with different perspective and maybe, just maybe you'll understand the pain that people like yul is experiencing.
