What I think is interesting about this story is the way Deokhoo acts in regards to Nanhee. Like at first when they started dating and being all "I missed you even though it's only been a day" or whatever I'm like this isn't very realistic lol.Like well it IS when you're first dating but at some point you'll have to get into fights or like something cuz you can't always be 100% happy with someone. And we do see Nanhee get upset with Deokhoo at times, which yeah was totally his fault. But we didn't really see Deokhoo get that upset with her. But after finishing the story I realized why.
Like you see at multiple points int he story that Deokhoo isn't some completely clueless and naive guy that others make him out to be. Just cuz he's a geek who's never dated doesn't mean he doesn't know how to act with women or that he'll get taken advantage of like Suyeon said he would. He knows how to read people. He figured out that his sister's co-worker who wanted to use Deokhoo for money was just a rude and awful person when she said to him "it's a pity you're seeing someone." When Suyeon told him Nanhee and her mom were talking about diamonds, he automatically knew they meant the game and that Suyeon was looking for reasons to hate on Nanhee. And he was very willing to cut ties with her instantly, especially when she stole Nanhee's gift because he respects Nanhee and dislikes people he considers "bad." Then at the end with Nanhee's jealous friend, he knew the entire time she was trying to ruin the atmosphere but let Nanhee handle it on her own.
And yet, even though Nanhee did really questionable things at the beginning of the story and Deokhoo admitted she seemed dangerous, he never shunned her or turned her away. He recognized that she was just an awkward girl. Once you realize he has an eye for people, it all makes sense. That's why he fell for her too, cuz he could tell she was someone who had good intentions, even if she did weird stuff. I mean he did get annoyed she kicked him when he accidentally touched her, but he didn't like 100% hold it against her. Plus, his utter devotion to Nanhee is an extension of his fanboy persona too. That's why he's always super duper into her and doesn't get that angry with her since the kick aside, most of what she did was honestly just a mistake and the fact that Nanhee is very awkward. And Nanhee also is very forgiving with him as well.
So long story short, this was hella cute read. An idiot couple and super devoted husband and wife who don't beat around the bush and fall prey to the classic "drama born out of misunderstandings."

Yes!!! I love ur analysis of deokhoo! I agree, he's shown to be a really aware person and isn't naive. While he does love Nanhee, he also doesn't blindly follow her imo. It felt like he tried to understand her constantly and he knew her boundaries.
Nanhee also grew in that way. She didnt get upset with Suyeon like she would have before and i think she learned that from Deokhoo
