I see many people saying the emporer forgiving the mistress chick because he’s madly in love but throughout that whole transaction I didn’t really feel that his mad infactuation was what made him lenient
There’s obvi backstory that we don’t know yet but it’s clear that he has been dependent on red head for a while, and maybe seeing her killed and loseing whatever he got from her (love?comfort?) all at once is too much. He gonna need to get over it himself or find someone else who’ll love him (wink wonk)
