Hmm okay that's fair. Clearly a better perspective if you put it that way. I guess I'm just too emotional about some stories like this because most of the time the male lead falls for the mc because of their past lover or smth along those lines. Thank you for your opinion

I was never a fan of demons or deity being drawn to a human because they resemble their past lovers or smth or they have their blood or reincarnation whatnot. It's just sad, like, yea sure let's say Maru likes Minoru but that's because he got drawn to him because of Tomoe and it's kinda half-assed, in my opinion. It's basically saying "I like you because of Tomoe" and it breaks my heart so I can totally understand Minoru here
