So... only the girls bother you?

There are 2 girls and one guy in their party, so yeah. The other guy besides MC seems alright, he is not too extra and doesn't overreact. I don't like girl with red hair becaus she is annoying and doesn't think. The other one is too childish , in the novel she is even worse (she can't even go pee alone)

The guy is not too extra... when not so long ago he almost attacked one of his comrades and claimed to have done it "jokingly"... Which to me spells out that he either has a crap sense of humor and crappy situational awareness or just doesn't own up to his mistake and passes them off as jokes...
They've all got room for development.

I guess you have your reasons. But I feel you're not giving the same consideration to the soft teenage girl who tries her best and the impulsive redhead with a boisterous personality. Aren't they allowed to have flaws too?

well i don't believe he's the kind of person to lose focus on his foals because of girls so i don't really mind them as long as they suck up and don't become dead weight by getting super strong that he can actually place his trust in them ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I think the same. I'm more bothered by how useless they are, and there was actually a fragment in the novel about how everyone thought magician girl acted weird for her age, and that there may be some reason behind her acting like a child

You do realize that they are in situation that could lead to their death and most of them are barely adults. They’re still trying to wrap their head around their situation.

Why is, the growth they all had, not being acknowledged. Sure there's still plenty they will need to learn, but so far the teenager and the two young adults are doing pretty well with the trauma-inducing reality they have stepped in.
Our MC has one previous life under his belt so I won't put him in the Y.A. bag. (obviously)

As for the soft teenage girl being "childish" I think this could be a developmental condition or a psychological defense mechanism. But I must say that I dislike the use of "childish" to talk about highly sensitive, emotional, and/or anxious people, as it seems to have that dismissive feel. And that notion of "acting your age" is too often used to box/beat people in.

But honestly, the problem seems to be that romance in these stories is disliked, and somehow girls have become the foolish creatures that trap the MC in it. You don't have to like them if their character design doesn't align with your preferences, but why hate them because they haven't turned into moral replicas of the MC? or deadly weapons on his level? He had a lifetime (albeit short) to get where he is, plus their academy time. Give the trio a little more.
And I say the trio because the girls, for now, are not behind. The guy too messed up in the forest. Then, they all gathered themselves and got worried about MC, and then later in the dungeon he too had reserves about some of MC's actions and about the spider host gal. If the girls are judged useless so far then so should the guy.
