honestly like do they not have common sense. his whole family was killed in front of him and the only family he has left (his father) he’s just going to poison on the happiest day of his life? um ok
mil has done the opposite of grow on me. Yes throne competition is harsh, worse irl, but seriously? Taking advantage of his brother/father/sister in law’s condition just for power? Selfish. He doesn’t deserve the throne, Linden and the others genuinely care for the people, he needs to know when to step down.
Yeah, these past couple of chapters really made me dislike him. Like what makes you think you could be a better ruler honestly...? And if it's all just for revenge or whatever that's even more pathetic. After all this I hope Elise will distance herself from him because he will deserve it.
