People all gonna get confused on whether or not this person is good or evil. Also...The smut scenes....It just breaks my heart we'll never get to see it. Cause...Let's be real here. Haha, yea, the manhua is great with the art but, it lacks of feeling that makes me want to drop it and go back to the novel. But again, the art is great (╯3╰)
I think the new reader of this manhua will comment about how they hate MC and blablabla abuse is not okay. I mean yea, abuse is not okay, and never be; but the MC didn't abuse the ML. He just never took the ML like he existed--well it doesn't make it better, but the point is the MC never "intentionally" beat him or anything. And one that kinda threw me off from the beginning of the manhua was the part where Jing Shao surrounded with girls as if he loves to do that. He literally left for another war not long after they both got married!! From just that part we could see the difference between the manhua and the novel in term of the character; in the manhua they make it seems like all the MC did in the last life was hurting the ML because he hated the ML; but in the novel we could see that the MC acted like the ML wasn't his wife or even exist; when they both close to die, Jing Shao said that he never look at Jun Qing's face and never realized of how beautiful his wife was.
That's actually a simple detail but it can actually ruin the characters if they didn't include it in the story. The MC isn't a jerk, and the ML isn't a weak person. They both just got to the point where they act like one.
And oh, the smut --- hoping someone would make a fanart of the papapa stuff Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ
Yeah...The manhua is condensing a lot of things. Specifically the seme all of a sudden acting like a puppy which could potentially confused readers cause they're probably wondering "why is he all of a sudden nice???" But for an instance, I wish they'd show the seme inner dialogue of how guilty he is towards his wang fei but they don't have it shown here. Also....Tst! Damn....So this is gonna be a shounen-ai sort of thing for the manhua eh.. Damn! I was really looking forward to the smut scenes (;´༎Д༎`)
