I can’t empathise with that whole uncle thing & also this new black haired king intended to actually show her what being free was like. what is more important than that... poor kid, she didn’t even realise she was trapped, such a thin line between protection n being confined...
It's just the stereotypical second male lead syndrome though, and because of that his character ends up being very artificial.
Of course he seems like the overall better choice, that's literally HIS SOLE PURPOSE in the story, to be the all around good guy whose only fault was arriving too late.

Maybe its the wrong way to look at a story, but the trope just becomes so blatant that I just wish they'd get him out of the way already. Of course he would be the better choice, because the trope wouldn't work otherwise. If the second lead was worse than the main lead nobody would even think twice.
I like the ml.. but I love the black haired guy better, for ma he genuinely wooed her and like didn’t manipulate her... can we just make a haremm?? Its a waste cause he really loved her.. it’s saddening
