Yeah he has some good points but he just did it so he feel powerful or some shiz like he's doing it for his own selfish needs -3-
Everything we do is selfish to its core. At least his selfish actions aren't (as far as we know) actively hurting others.

I mean still not as bad as some other stuff he could be pulling. I don't like the guy but he isn't taking gross advantage or presenting ridiculously unfair rules which he totally could do
Like I know the elder is super sus, but all things considered he has actually managed to build a stable village that doesn't have slaves or are cannibals or the like. Ya gotta give him points for that.
