It feels really sloppy, like all over the place. The author makes ruve extremely terrible in the first timeline. Horrible to the point that it causes tia to have this fear/trauma of him in the 2nd timeline. So it's knowledged what a monster he was. But then she starts to fall for him again........even though she said she wouldn't do that again if given a 2nd chance.........and when he really hasn't done anything worthwhile. I mean if the game plan for the ending is for them to still end up together the author would have to make ruve so good to tia that it completely cancels out the memory of what a complete monster he was in the 1st timeline but that hasn't happened yet and we're 100 chapters is so far already with really no redemption. Or the author shouldn't have made ruve that terrible to tia in the 1st timeline, if he had just been neglectful that would have still been bad but not soo bad that tia would be traumatized by the sight of him. And It might be easier for the readers to forgive him and give him a chance. Unfortunately the author sets ruve up in the 1st timeline as much worse, he's not only neglectful but also physically and verbally abusive. I don't get how the author expected readers to just forget and forgive ruve, let alone root for him ,when the beginning chapters show this same character smacking the mc straight in the face. Seriously what were they thinking? And then that little "poison " bs excuse pffftt ok suuuuure there's a "poison " that makes u physically violent towards only one specific person ok
wait what happened for the korean audience, but yes to be honest I know this is a webtoon and fictional but even in yaoi victim dont forget trauma just cause of sugar coated words from the love interest, there is actual events and even thoights from the victim to the reader why they still have trauma but are willing to at least talk to their tormentor to get them closure.
If you look at Ina’s (the artist) Instagram, you notice that all of her posts had the comments disabled. https://instagram.com/ina_hangatic?igshid=1thwfbavnvdac Normally, you’d assume that she did so that nobody would spoil the manhwa. But if you look at other manhwa artists’ Instagrams, they kept the comments open.

Abandoned Empress is just as popular as these series, so why did Ina disable the comments? I can assume that she got a lot of hate since there were warnings in her bio, which sucks because she wasn’t the one who wrote the original story.

I hated the prince more than this black haired girl, and why is she pretending she didn’t see Tia be murdered and cast out of society every chance the prince got. Jieun watched all the shit that went down and still has the gaul to say stop pretending you want the throne. She wasnt with Tia while growing up so how does she know she doesnt have trauma like u wouldnt want to end up with the same face as your rapist for a husband for what power, Jieun u and that bratty prince deserve each other and let me ship red boy who might be able to talk sense into Tia
