I think its the other way around, because there are so many references throughout the series.. Like they have a matching key chain kind of thing, xu ze' has the cat (cat represents the bottom) and senior has a dog. Couple of chapters back, senior forced xu zhe to switch the hoodie that said 'taken man and taken lady' and xu zhe accepted. Or maybe they switch.. Don't know abt that. The author teases us with these things time to time.. Guess we will never know for real because it's a shounen ai
