As a survivor of abuse you would actually be very surprised how little people actually notice unless you speak up about it

I know they act like she hadn’t been trying to kill her self to escape previously. It’s irritating that they treated her many suicide attempts, not as a cry for help, but as like a childish attention seeking ploy. Now they have the audacity to be horrified that she was actually suffering horrible trauma. Shame on them.
