I feel like he probably forgot about his daughter and her mother because of memory loss that someone purposely planned. But I also wonder why the abusive duke knew about her and if he knew prior to the adoption about the girl's mum and bloodline.
Well the abusive prick hates the dad, so maybe that hate stems from the fact the dad was the one who got the mother’s love???
While the dad was recuperating from memory loss the mother had to run away to avoid being caught by the duke, and she was probably early on in her pregnancy when she fled, early enough for her to still be able to escape, but late enough for the abusive wet sock to be able to realise she’s pregnant. Or he could’ve bribed the doctor that confirmed she was pregnant.
She might have went into hiding, had the child, left our mc at the orphanage, then continued to run to throw him off her trail, only to get caught by the abusive prick (I’m not sure as to what he would do to her though)
In one way or another she dies leaving the abusive mouldy apple to desperately search for her only surviving legacy, her child.
My question is how did they get a whole kingdom to forget the mother’s existence??? Cause it’s not only the dad that doesn’t remember her, everyone at their mansion, people that might have been friends with the mother, the kings castle wouldn’t have forgotten such a prominent member of such a powerful family.
And why is it that only the abusive prick remembers?
