Not sure if i remember it correctly but he's looking at the kid, that is because the kid can somewhat control some monster this includes the queen ant ( not sure but it's a strong monster enough to rival junghyuk, anyway this will be revealed in the next chapters once they entered a dungeon ) junghyuk even tried to recruit the kid because of his abilities but was turned down. That monster was actually the kids trump card or last resort because he's level is too low therefore it affects his body when he calls its. If you remember in the previous chapter where they got the stoves, the kid said he could still call one monster but as he did the ground started shaking therefore ML ordered to cancel it.

Ok, so yes, he was looking at Gilyoung (the kiddo, besto seme of the ships) but he ain't controlling the ant queen, he controls the mantis and later on the chimera (along with another kid that will be appearing in the future).

Just for the record, he does control an ant-like monster but it ain't as powerful as the chimera
