Seriously?? Corsets?? They are literally bras!! Also, only people who are not from respectable background would tight-lace it, to seem more sexier to rich men, so they can secure a profitable marriage. Bruh, chill!! They ain't no death traps. Tight-lacing was frowned upon by the general public, but there will always be people like Kim Kardashian and the like, so yes, women still did tht, but to sayEVERY WOMEN did tht is Wrong!! Also women of those times did sports like tennis, horseback riding and whatnot, and u stil think they're restricting?? If u wanna be enlightened, please watch videos of actual fashion historians in their corsets, like Karolina Zebrowska, Bernadette Banner and Isabella from priorattire (you can find all on YouTube). Seriously, educate before holding a prejudice. Also, men wore corsets......let tht sink in
