Honestly I pretty much agree the cold behavior doesn't suit him and yeah I thought she would want to become stronger and actually expose the mofo but nope I understand the trauma she was still young and lived in the middle of a forest alone constantly being abused with no one els around and not every protagonist is gonna be the same some take time to come to terms with it but if I were her I would at least try to make myself stronger and I'm also out here trying to find spoilers so I don't have to go through too much disappointment in the characters but over all I stayed cause I wanna see how she progresses as a character and if she becomes stronger along the way but her character is kind lacking
as a person who was emotionally and physically abused i can understand why she just wants to leave not all people that are abused can get stronger after getting out of the abusive relationship try to put yourself in her place she was physically abused along with being mocked by the adoptive family now she's alive again and since she was basically locked up in a cabin for most of her life she just wants to be free and go where she wants to and she did change her fate by staying with the duke (▰˘◡˘▰)

It's like the elephant with the rope. The elephant couldn't escape as a child from that rope and when he grew up he still thought he couldn't escape. The MC was abused, it's actually pretty realistic that she still has the broken mentality that she used to have. Hence the distrust, anxiety, panic attacks, needing to escape, etc.
Ok first thing’s first, the mc is really cute. But really annoying at the same time. It’s just her constantly saying she’s going to leave just pisses me off. ╥﹏╥

Am I the only one who find the duke a little weird. Ok don’t get me wrong he is amazing and fine as hell.

The story is so slow paced.(〜￣△￣)〜 It doesn’t need to be fast, but I don’t want it as slow as it is. I want to see some happy shit for once.I’m tired of them saying she could be in danger.
Why I feel like 50% of us only stayed because how cute they are, or at least giving it a chance. Like honestly I would’ve probably dropped it already.
