And also the title will not be the same if it's not for the dog. If most of the readers don't accept the fact about the mc and the dog then it's better to just drop it. The title and the plot says so and they were expecting office romance then it's better to find something else.

Everyone now wants MC to get together with red hair. But no one is thinking about jonggu's feelings at all. If he is still a dog in a human body then it sure is weird but he now has human thoughts and emotions. He is basically a human. It can be even thought like he has been reincarnated as a human but still got his memories from former life as a dog.
So if the MC really gets together with red hair, and jonggu turns back into a dog because his owner is no longer lonely and he has no more purpose to be a human, I think he would be pretty heart broken. What has been done cannot be taken back and I don't think they can ever go back to the dog human relationship again cuz he now is really a human, and what they have is human-human relationship.
